11. Who bears responsibility for making publications available open access?
Registering an article and uploading the accompanying鈥痜inal author version is the researcher鈥檚 responsibility. Checking the metadata is the responsibility of LIS.
In case of a peer-reviewed version, LIS bears responsibility to check the publisher鈥檚 conditions and to make the article available Open Access via the repository as soon as this is permitted.
For all other types of publications, it is the author鈥檚 responsibility to set the status to either "open", "restricted" or "embargoed".
